National Guard Solidiers Ask For Your Help

Randy Bailey,

We are asking once again asking for the support of the Bone Head Nation to help lend a helping hand, their warm hearts and deep pockets to help a local family in need. Imagine your self watching the local news at five and you children are gracefully playing their video games when you smell smoke and can not find it. Your house is on fire deep within the walls, the house is burning with in around you, all you can do is quickly gather a few belongings and get your family out. That is what happened to the Pilgrim family, a local family from Essex. Their house caught on fire and the blaze was battled till darkness with a total loss of every thing. They loss every thing from family pets to clothes. All destroyed in matter of minutes from a blazing house fire. This family has been so called adopted by SSG MYERS and SSG RUDD from the Missouri Army National Guard. As citizen soldiers they live with in the community that this family sustained their loss. Theses two soldiers are dedicating their time to collect clothes and usable house hold items to help this family. Even though the family is currently set up in a local Hotel, this cost alone will be an unbearable expense for any family. There has been a benefit account set up for the Pilgrim family at the Bank of Advance in Dexter Mo. All monies should be made payable to the Bank of Advance Benefit Account of Sally Pilgrim. This family has two children; they are special needs children which makes this cause even more so important for these children.

Randy this family needs every thing. I have attached a clothing size for any one who is interested in helping:

Boy clothes size 16 pants, medium shirt, size 6 ½ shoes.

Girl's clothes size 8 slim pants, 10-12 shirts, and size 13 ½ shoe children's. Ladies size 16 pants, size large shirt, size 7 shoes. Man size pants 34-36, 2x shirts, size 10 ½ shoes.

SINCERELY YOURS,

SSG MYERS AND SSG RUDD

We will be accepting donation from 8 am - 5 pm Monday thru Friday at the Poplar Bluff Armory. The point of contact is SSG Myers and or SSG Rudd at 573-785- 6891/ 6854.
